Valentine's Day is an evil day that was invented by so called greeting card companies so that they can make money off my back.  To hell with it

how disapointing, i thought this was a thread about how to scam hallmark, and neglegent lovers. i guess i'll have to look elsewhere.

lol that's what my dad always say about holiday greeting cards/companies... even with father's day lol

There are a lot of "buy cards" days.      Mother's Day, Father's Day, Grandparents Day.  Grandparents Day? how stupid, that's covered in Mother's & Father's Days.   What wrong with people?  

   Now there's cards for everything.  The stores just go from Holiday to Holiday.  Next is St Pat's.     Buy Flowers, candy and cards or diamonds,  it's the American way.

I absolutely couldn't agree more. We're bombarded with commercials about diamonds, pajama-grams, teddy bears, etc. V-Day causes unnecessary stress for everyone who falls victim to it! And if you have kids, you get sucked into the whole school-end of it. Just try to imagine your kid telling the teacher and everyone in the class that it's wrong, and it shouldn't be pressed upon them, in the middle of a big class party! Yeah...right...it's sad. We need to keep this movement going every year until we become the majority. Gotta have a dream...
