Post are you serious!?
I've never heard of someone doing that before... do they pretend they are from a secret admirer or what?
That is so weird

Post Thats Pretty Sad
Shocked What would be the point in that? You would know you sent the flowers to yourself, so you wouldn't feel anymore loved....so why spend the money?

I worked for a floriest delivering flowers a couple times, its fun to see when someone recieves flowers how it lights up their faces.  However there was this one woman who came there & picked out her flowers to have them delivered to herself.  She & her hubby were snoots, so i thought it was a lil lame to do that.  But then again if ur color cordinating ur rooms with ur flowers i guess thats the only way to get what u want instead of the cheapiest lil thing there.

So some women like to buy flowers for themselves and have them delivered to their home, big deal. If you're afraid of being labeled as pathetic for doing that, then don't do it! If they like to do this, then let them. They aren't hurting anyone so just get over it.

One of my close friends (who is married btw) has done this for herself a couple times. Her reasoning is that she would rather get something nice for herself and let her husband think of something unexpected and creative. Plus, her husband doesn't know anything about flowers (neither does mine). And, she doesn't hold him to doing something only on VD like it's an empty gesture if they go out the following weekend.
