Post Doing my part for Anti-V Day
I was talking to a friend of mine, and she was saying every year on V-Day, she would wear black. She is going to be working at night on the 14th, and it would be stupid to wear all black on the streets, so she can't do it this year.

I am, however, planning on continuing the tradition. Come Wendsday, I will be in black dress boots (very cute, and comfortable, black pants, andeither a black blouse with silver clasps for buttons, or a black capped sleve v-neck.

This is also my first V-Day with a boyfriend. I'm making him Monty Python Killer Rabbit cookies. With one heart in the mix with a "bite" out of it.

What is everyone else going to be doing? It's all five and dandy to just complain, but are you doing anything anti?

My sister and I had a single girls only party on Saturday night (not on V-Day since it's during the work week).  We all dressed in our sexiest black outfits, went out to eat and then came back to my place for drinks and games.

Also, I didn't purchase any valentines candy or cards.  I know the big companies won't miss my few dollars but it makes me feel better to say I didn't support the commercialization.
